Our client is seeking an experienced Transport / Fleet Supervisor to manage a fleet of trucks and trailers, supervise staff, and oversee daily logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee fleet operations and staff (drivers, assistants).

Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and regularly serviced.

Monitor mechanical condition of fleet and identify faults.

Handle breakdowns and coordinate with third parties.

Track diesel consumption and manage fuel efficiency.

Ensure all driver documentation is current and compliant.
-
Manage the intake process for new driver assistants.
Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years in a similar fleet supervisory role.

Knowledge of trucks, trailers, and basic mechanical diagnostics.

Strong communication and people management skills.
-
Valid driver’s license.
-
Must be available immediately or on short notice.
