About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, with full-function accounting responsibilities and experience managing a small team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Manage and oversee the full accounting function.

Handle payroll and SARS submissions (TAX / EMP / IT).

Prepare Annual Financial Statements (AFS).

Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.

Prepare financial reports, budgets, and analyses.

Authorize Debtors and Creditors transactions.

Perform bank reconciliations.
-
Manage foreign currency transactions (USD, Euro, Pound, etc.).

Handle accruals and review income and expense statements.
-
Conduct asset verification.

Implement financial policies and procedures.

Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full-function accounting role.

Proven experience managing a small finance team.

Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and legislation.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Up to date with the latest financial regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
